Crimewatch: Update II
Well, the insurance company have again come up trumps. So far everything has gone smoothly and a new Specialized Rockhopper Disc should be winging it’s way to us soon. I spent a bit of money upgrading the lock that they knackered this time around and later today I shall be purchasing a Shed Shackle and associated heavy-duty chainage!
Then I get to install a new roof on the shed (this time made of plywood rather that criminal-friendly chipboard). Hopefully it will all be done by the time the Orange is back from the shop and the new bike arrives from the insurance company.
What no 10,000 volts system ?
June 19th, 2008 at 11:53 amNah, I can’t be bothered to run the power supply from the house to the shed!
June 19th, 2008 at 12:05 pmAdded to the fact that you would have to remember to disable it every time : )
June 19th, 2008 at 1:07 pmand they’d probably nick it….
June 19th, 2008 at 1:47 pm…then decide they don’t like the colour leave it abandonned just down the road.
Which insurance company do you use Mr Weon?
June 19th, 2008 at 3:51 pmNationwide (who in turn are agents for RBS Insurance). Considering we have claimed about 4 grands worth of stuff in 3 years they seem to be pretty easy to claim from!
June 19th, 2008 at 4:04 pmRBS Insurance, thats Lai’s lot then.
June 20th, 2008 at 10:25 amHaving said it was RBS it appears I was lying. It’s actually Churchill. In fact, I have a feeling that Churchill is RBS anyway!
June 20th, 2008 at 10:30 amIt is indeedy, at the moment.
