Remember Me?
OK, it’s been AGES (with a capital ey) since I posted anything. Why? Well, my life has been what is commonly referred to as totally frickin’ messed up! Work consumed most of my waking hours. Those hours that didn’t see me chained to this desk, keyboard and mouse saw me desperately trying to keep my friends and family under the impression that I was still alive and talking to them.
So, to finish off my account of my holiday to Costa Rica, here is a run down…
Day 5: Travelled to Monte Verde (Rainforest) by 4×4 on the worlds bumpiest roads (after some confusion that saw us worrying that we were going to have to walk there!)
Day 6: A miserable rainy day that saw us doing a canopy zip-wire tour through the clouds. Excellent fun but oddly disconcerting.
Day 7: Travelled from Monte Verde to Punta Islita, possibly the most idyllic place I have ever been to.
Day 8-12: Chilling, tanning, reading, photographing, swimming, drinking cocktails, cloud-free canopy touring.
Day 13: Puddle-jumper flight back to San Jose.
Day 14: Delayed flight home. Missed Connection. Spent a night in the worst hotel known to man in Miami.
Day 15: Actual flight home.
Photos of the trip can be found in the Costa Rica Gallery.
As if that wasn’t enough traveling, I have just got back from 12 days in the States (Killington, VT) boarding with Anne, Jane (her sister) and Dave (Jane’s boyfriend). Suffice to say that it was brilliant. Alongside the boarding we managed to go snowmobiling, brewery touring, shopping and snow-shoeing. Photos will appear once I have sorted them out.
That’s it. I’ll try to write more often because I know that it adds sooooo much value to your day.
Or not.
Ahh my life is once again complete
Nice to hear from you, you almost got as bad as me. I will probably be experiencing the joys of work in April when I start a proper job as a web designer. BT has tried its best to drain the life out of me but I think I can just about escape before my brain melts out of my ears
March 13th, 2008 at 9:43 pmHa ha! I thought of you recently as I was in Cardiff with my family for the Wales v Italy game. Glad to hear that you are finally going to escape the clutches of BT and do what you actually want to do!
