Brat Build: Day 2

The Brat now has a motor and gear housing (although it is missing a screw that wasn’t in the kit but is being posted to me), drive train and rear suspension assembly.

Rear suspension and drive assembly

The rear suspension needed much fettling as one of the parts, made of pressed aluminium, was slightly squiffy so much filing and oiling and removing and re-attaching was required. It seems to work now though. The oil-filled dampers were a bit of a pain to make too.

I have ordered the moose and shotguns to go in the back along with a tiny car radio that only play country music.

    Ace
Paint a general lee on the bonnet too :)

I was looking at helicopters before, I know I’ll break one in about 8 seconds, but Ive always wanted one, like for over half my life.

i might see if I can find spare parts for my thunder dragon, I bet I can’t maybe there’s modern spares that will fit.

Check out Time Tunnel models (also known as Gold Star Stockists) or eBay for bits of your car. Time Tunnel is where we got our Brats from and they are pretty switched on.

I reckon if you built the chopper then you’ll be super-careful flying it and not crash it!

Hmm, General Lee. I like that idea a lot.
