Water Water Everywhere…
…and not a drop to drink.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock then you will know that here in Gloucestershire we have had a slightly larger amount of rain than normal. As a result I am without running water right now. Anne has gone to stay with her folks (which is also nearer to where she is working) and I’m enjoying the fact that our kitchen has also become my bathroom (it saves running up and down the stairs with kettles full of hot water).
I’m not going to complain though. There are plenty of people worse off than me. We weren’t flooded and I have water at work so I can take some home every day without having to rely on the bowsers.
Apparently we might be without water for another week though. 
Also, work is MENTAL right now. Still, it’s the Cotswold Beer Festival tomorrow - yay!
Your sink is tiny!
when I re-do my kitchen I’m going to buy the biggest sink possible.
Sucks about the water though, we have lots, but you probably don’t want it, as I’ve ridden my bike in it.

Fetid sewage-ridden flood water we have plenty of.
And yes, our sink is tiny and is rubbish. Whoever came up with that seperate sink and drainer set up needs their head read.

Glad work is busy for you….we seem pretty quiet at the moment but then again that could just be the smell coming from our workshop!

SBG - Ha ha! Thanks for the offer but we now have running water again. We can’t drink it but we can wash in it so we are almost back to normal (or as normal as it gets in our house).
