Sunday Funshine

This was meant to be a short and relaxed ride for a Sunday afternoon. Cookey, Olly, Matt and I were planning to take this route which suited me fine as I was struggling to keep my legs moving. However, when we got to the top of the final descent I felt like doing a bit more so we looped back on ourselves. Then when we got to the top of the next final descent I felt like doing more again so we added in the Golf course/nature reserve/best view in the Cotwolds loop. Matt was a little concerned I was going to force him to do a third unplanned loop but I didn’t and by the time we reached the pub we’d done 20 miles and enjoyed pretty much all of it (some of the climbs were nasty) - check it out.
All in all a great ride but my knees are complaining a bit today. Also, on Saturday the WeOdeon opened for business. We don’t have the naked nymphs on the front of our building like the old Cheltenham Odeon did, but we do have comfy seats and legroom!
I had a filling done today at the dentist.
April 23rd, 2007 at 5:18 pmMy mouth still hurts!!! And I’m still at work. No bike rides for me. Particularly as I don’t have a bike.
Mmmm, fillings. I have none.
I did have three years of orthodontic treatment tough.
What happened to Emma’s old BMX? I would have thought you would have become uber-gnarly on that by now.
April 23rd, 2007 at 8:36 pmErm , what do you mean? I’ve never ridden a girls bike.
April 24th, 2007 at 9:28 amI am however getting gnarly…or should that be old and gnarled?
