Mmmm, Tapas

Mmmm, tapas

Last night was supposed to be a BGN and a chance for the team formerly known as WDDT to catch up, hang out and enjoy some banter.

Unfortunately Raj had to cancel at the last minute but, undeterred, Olly, Pete and I ended up in La Tasca, a new tapas bar in the 'Nam, and had a thoroughly good time. I don't know why we always end up eating tapas when we go out as a team but it seems like a good plan.

Not such a good plan is three pints on an empty stomach and at least three rounds of tequila (it may make you happy, but the next day is not so much fun).

We are all a bit fragile this morning and I have to drive to the Lake District this afternoon. Great.

Also, everyone now has to call Olly "The Original Jacob Knielsen" (the K is very important), although I can't remember why.

I had my business credit card stolen and we spent a long time talking to a busker who wanted us to believe that at the age of 21 he had lived the whole rock and roll lifestyle. And written 94 songs about it.

A great night.

Now for some coffee.

Brilliant night. The Jakob Kneilsen thing was the funniest.

I saw that busker in town on Saturday. He was rubbish!

One of my mates at work said they had seen him and he was crap. I’m always suspect of someone who says they know ‘Jovi’ and then prove they don’t know the difference between Slippery When Wet and Someday I’ll be Saturday Night

    Aye, me too.
