My boss says “Get it to a garage and get them to strip it back to metal, then lacquer it with a slightly tinted lacquer.”

It’ll look like a metal bike, and no one will nick it???

Olly, it is a Scott post with a Canondale saddle on. I was hoping to buy a shim instead of a seatpost and use it but they don’t make ‘em in that size.

SBG - Still not sure about the paint job. I want it to look good but at the same time want it to look rubbish so that someone won’t be tempted to nick it!

Paint job… Strip it back to metal, black undercoat, orange base coat. Highlight the basic flame shapes in yellow and lowlight with red.

No one will ever steal it again.

That 26.8 seatpost… it wasn’t a RaceFace XY with a WTB saddle sat on the top was it?
