Flimph
OK, so Olly and SBG have covered this already so I won't go into details. Suffice to say that I rode my bike at last on Saturday (the day of rain that was sandwiched by days of sunshine - fantastic selection there). It was fun. My new bike didn't make riding up Leckhampton Hill any easier but it did make it slightly more enjoyable. Olly and SBG seemed convinced I had bought a kids bike but that is just because they are giants. Oh, and SBG's new ride appears to be made of paper.

Needless to say we had an ace time. Crazy downhills, twisty skinny bits (and I don't just mean SBG's legs) and XC cruising.

Then SBG went and broke himself and his bike which put a bit of a dampener on events.

Still, he has some new bars and the skin will grow back so it's not all bad.
Ride Distance: 14.3 miles
Year Total: 107 miles
I have done very badly on my total miles ridden so far this year but plan to change all that when I get back from my hols. Once the sun is out and I can schedule work a bit more sensibly I'll be racking up the miles! Maybe.
I have lots to do before Friday and so don't expect to be getting out again before going on holiday. Life is mad here right now but 3 weeks away should sort me out.
I also seem to be developing tonsillitis (perfect timing I'm sure you'll agree) - what is it with me at the moment? I seem to be falling apart.
I like the outifts. Glad SBG is okay. Too pretty of a face to mess up.

You are joking right? :S
May 10th, 2006 at 7:54 amShe can’t see me close up, fence-boy.
Thank you Sara. As to the outfits, we were on our way to join the circus as a three man clown troup… but they wouldn’t take us with my injuries.
May 10th, 2006 at 8:06 amYeah, Fence-boy!
Brilliant.
What’s wrong with our outfits - I thought we looked pretty cool. You can’t even see the fantastic shorts I’m wearing.
May 10th, 2006 at 8:41 amYou’re ill cause you’re getting old :-p or more likely “sods law” is playing a part.
On another note, check my site for a Wii video, it looks amazing
May 10th, 2006 at 9:27 amI recommend everyone check out Simon’s site and look at that video. Wii looks very cool.
(Waits for some inane comment from Pete about it being a kiddies console and rubbish)
May 10th, 2006 at 9:53 amThat’s the best post-title EVAR! You are the winner.
I need a wii.
May 10th, 2006 at 10:49 amThanks. It was the way I was feeling when I posted.
May 10th, 2006 at 12:15 pmLooks very cool. I like the controllers. (though nothing bar Jaws would make angling any fun).
Might just convert me to Nintendo if they can make a better games selection.
May 10th, 2006 at 12:55 pmLooks very cool. I notice that at no point did you see the user and the screen in the same shot, which kinda gives me the impression that it’s not as straight forward as it should be. Certainly the movie makes it look like you can pretend you’re holding a sword and cut people up into little pieces whereas I reckon the normality will be getting butchered whilst your character attempts to jump into a corner and open his inventory.
May 10th, 2006 at 2:43 pmHa Ha! That method of playing games has served me well for the last 15 years, I see no reason to change now.
May 10th, 2006 at 2:49 pmHad to say it Pete
I can’t wait for Wii. I’ve always loved nintendo but maybe thats because I’m old. I’m really excited for Super Mario Brothers to come out for the DS on May 15
