How Kind

OK, so work is mental for me at the moment. It's flippin' typical seeing as I go on holiday for 3 weeks very soon that I should now get really busy. In fact yesterday I had to turn work away! It's really easy to get bogged down in the work to be done vs. time available battle but I just had a call that made my day. A new client called up about some work I've done for them and said that it's great but they can't use it as it's too different to what the parent company in South Africa want.

So why am I chuffed? Well he said he really liked what I've done and it's the first time he can remember that they have been excited about working with a designer.

Which is nice.

Right, now I have to finish writing a spec/quote. Urgh. Plus, I don't think I'll get out on my shiny new bike before next Tuesday. See, now I'm all sad again!

Sorry man, I need all this work to pay for my holidays (and my tax bill). Sleep is for losers.

I’ll bear you in mind though if I have any extra work that I can’t do. Send me your contact details to owen at eggsbox dot co dot uk.

Every creature needs to rest. Giraffes, little babies, elephants, dogs, cats, kids, koala bears, grandparents, moms, dads, and hippos in the jungle - they all sleep! Just like eating, sleep is necessary for survival. WBR LeoP
