Techno-Failure

Due to circumstances beyond my control (and the ineptitude of Bulldog), my broadband has disappeared. It'll be about a week before it’s back. In that time, please don't send me any mails with large attachments as I don't really want to download them over dial-up.

Once I'm back, I'll let you know but needless to say that this site will probably be quiet and I won't be chatting via MSN.

I hate telecomms companies. I feel like I've lost an arm or something - very odd.

    Ah, wonderful :(

You’re welcome to pop over and use ours if you like. We might even have a free ethernet port on the router.

  2. Sara Says:

What were you saying about the High-Speed Pigeons in Italy??

  3. Owen Says:

Olly - thanks for the offer. Hopefully I can get by on dial-up this week for e-mail etc. Apparently I will be back on fast internet on Saturday.

Sara - I can’t help but notice the irony too!

  4. Pete Says:

I’d second Olly. If you need somewhere with a connection for the week, you’re more than welcome.

  5. Pete Says:

    ….to use ours as well!

  6. Joe Says:

The ethernet connection on our laptop has broken, so you’re welcome to come round and use ours if you want. Or just use a really really long cable. You could send one end of it to us in the post to save you the jouney. The other altenative is to do everything else in slow motion. That way you won’t notice how slow you’re dial up is.

  7. Owen Says:

I already work in slow motion, just ask any of my clients!

The older Pigeon Tranfer Protocl has been updated. The new B2P (Back to Pigeons) uses the newer Wi-Fly technology:
    wi-fly
    and

    Maybe you should use this.

  9. Séan Says:

    AND!!!!
    Fast than ADSL

  10. Olly Says:

“cat 5 or any cat among the pigeons is not recommended any how” - brilliant!
