(Tomato) Catchup
OK, it's been a while and I don't really have time to write loads so here is a catchup…
- Pete had his stag weakend. It rocked. I spent more money than was wise, won a karting trophy and forgot to take my wallet (Thanks to Olly, Dan, Baggus and Pete for subbing me). More on that at some point soon (hopefully).
- Raj got engaged to the non-existent girl he apparently lives with. Congratulations mate!
- This last week has been mental work wise - if everything I have quoted/proposed for comes off I'll be set for a couple of months (which is nice). In fact, I just finished some banners for the old enemy. Which was nice.
- I got a mail out of the blue from Joe who I used to work with. He now lives in Marin County and I may do some work for him that could involve me going over there. Oh, are there kick-ass bike trails over there too? Bummer.
- Last night I forgot to tell Anne I was going to the movie with her, Olly and Lisa. That meant that while I was on the phone to Joe (see above) she went without me. Winner.
- I quoted for an e-commerce site this week and got undercut by 4.8k. How does someone do a site like that for 1200 squids?
- I'm tired but pretty happy right now. I could do with some food though.
- The PS3 isn't going to hit Europe until 2007 apparently so I'm going to buy an XBox 360 instead. Not yet though because I have no money.
- I haven't ridden for almost 2 weeks due to work. That sucks.
- Arsenal are out of the Carling Cup and United beat Liverpool on Sunday (much against everyones better judgement). Still, United may crash out of the Carling Cup tonight.
That'll do. Leave me a comment that makes me smile and I will give you £5*
*I may not actually do that
Badly.
January 25th, 2006 at 7:09 pmDamn it all, closer than I thought it would be mind. If we had not lost Bellamy before the game and he played rather than Kuqi it could have been different.
You gunna make the trip to Cardiff?
January 25th, 2006 at 10:19 pmOlly - well put. It is so frustrating because I don’t want to lose business but there is no way I can even think about matching quotes like that.
Simon - I don’t think it’s very likely. I have made it to the last 2 FA Cup finals but I think I’ll have to give the Carling a miss. Plus, at this rate, I’ll need to stay home and work anyway
January 26th, 2006 at 9:16 amAt least you aren’t on your period!
Oh and my husband is finally home. That is the reason for my lack of posting!!
January 26th, 2006 at 2:59 pmEr, OK.
How’s your man? Have you fallen out yet?
January 26th, 2006 at 3:01 pmIndeed, what an excellent weekend it was!
I didn’t fully recover until Wednesday. Anyway, must rush, I’ve got a rapid-fire e-commerce job to do. Simple enough, any well training monkey could do it…..
January 26th, 2006 at 5:08 pmHow about a well trained monkey? Sap.
January 26th, 2006 at 5:13 pmNo, a well, training monkey.
A monkey who trains.
January 26th, 2006 at 5:16 pmMy bad.
Back into training for me.
January 26th, 2006 at 5:17 pmWould you like some bananas with that?
