A Giant Leap, er, Sideways
It would appear that Intel are dropping their 37-year-old logo and the Intel Inside slogan. They are taking a massive leap of faith and exchanging their current lowercase logo for, er, a lowercase logo. But wait - the E in Intel is now on the same level as the rest of the logo. Awesome. Plus it has the swoosh from around the old Intel Inside around it. Radical.

I guess you can say that it will have brand consistancy (see the silver lining I found there?). I would love to have been the agency that got that job - 10 minutes work for a marillion pound paycheque.
The big question though is wether or not we still have to hear that stupid jingle everytime someone advertises a PC on telly. The intel inside logo was pants so I guess it’s a tad better.
December 30th, 2005 at 2:11 pmFirst time I’ve looked at you site. It’s your cousin here (!) - shock horror, I’ve discovered the internet!! Will be keeping in touch in 2006…
January 2nd, 2006 at 9:14 pmBlimey! Hello Simon! Congratulations on discovering the internet - it’ll turn out to be a big disappointment (as you have probably found out by looking at this site). Hope things are going well for you and say ‘Hullo’ to Beccy for me!

And as I always say, behind every silver lining there’s another huge raincloud. Actually I never say that… apart from right now!
AMD sempron… 64 bit … mmmmmm
