All Growed Up
A couple of days ago I released my baby fish into the main tank with the big fish. They had been living in a nursery net for about six weeks and so the time came to release them into the wild (well, the slightly larger captivity). I was very apprehensive after witnessing what happens to the new born fry.
It would appear that after some initial chasing the big fish have become accustomed to the little 'uns and don't intend to eat them. Hurrah! The babies are slowly getting braver and are venturing out from among the plants every now and then. The one in the front of the picture above is about 15mm in length and is the smaller of the two, with the one peering out from the weeds being about 17mm.
Any ideas for names?
On a side note I'm off to Olé Tapas tonight with Pete, Raj and Olly. It should be a good night but I may be a little worse for the wear tomorrow.
I suppose Big’Un and Lil’Un have been considered and rejected??
That way you only have a problem if they both grow to the same size… if they were to swap relative sizes, it prolly not a problem as they’re bound to come to their names if you’ve trained them right!!!
How’s the hangover?

The hangover was surprisingly small actually. I woke up at 6:30am with a headache, took some ibuprofen and a glass of water and went back to sleep. I woke again at 8am with no hangover.
