Small Fry (Take 2)
OK, I've just spent about half an hour up to my elbow in fishwater. Why? Well, my fish have bred again! This time I noticed in time and because I had invested in a special nursery net I have somewhere safe to keep them! I can’t say how long they'll survive but I'll do my best to keep them alive! The pics below show the two of them together on the left and you can just make out one of them behind the netting on the right. The photos are not great but considering the fry are about 6mm long and I have to take a photo into a fish tank, through some netting, they are not that bad!
I did manage to kill one of the other babies while trying to catch it which I feel a little bit guilty about. I also saw the other fish eat two babies. They seem to be breeding like rabbits!
Are you sure you’re feeding them properly? They seem to be breeding out of necessity to eat.
