Paint Me A Birmingham
This weekend I am off to sunny Birmingham. It is to be the stag weekend of one of my oldest friends, Dr Josef Walker. By oldest I don't mean he is an octogenarian, just that I've know him since we were 13 (and that is a loooooong time ago).
We'll be shooting clay pigeons, drinking, visiting a driving range, drinking, going to a club or two, drinking and eating. Then I think we'll have a drink. I don't think I'll be able to keep up but I'll do my best. You can expect a full report upon my return (assuming that I haven't been accidentally shot, left in a club or beaten with a golf club) along with some embarassing photos of Joe (hopefully).
On a side note, I think I am secretly in love with the girl in the new Renault Clio adverts.
P.S. 'Paint Me A Birmingham' is the title of a country song that we heard while in the states last year. It is great. I have no idea what it means but you can take a look at the lyrics and try to work it out for yourself!
