RIP RajFish
It is with a heavy heart (and surprisingly light kidneys) that I announce that last night RajFish passed away. She will be sorely missed.
RajFish never seemed quite at home in the tank, always sitting in the corner, avoiding contact with the other fish. The only time she became animated was when feeding time came around (just like the real Raj). However, when she failed to make any effort to eat yesterday, the alarm bells started ringing. By bed time, RajFish was aimlessly drifting around, bumping into things (just like the real Raj). This morning, RajFish was no more.
So long old friend.
Dear Owen, I’m sorry to hear about your loss. I’m sure your loss will be felt greatly in both the world of fish and Raj’s.
I’m most disappointed that I never got to miss my fish-named counterpart… but hey, these things happen.
I hope you might take a little comfort in the fact I (The Real Raj) am fine and well. And like my little fish named counterpart… I am becoming increasingly animated as I realise feeding time is nearly upon us again…

Thanks for the sympathy man. I am almost over the loss. I think that tomorrow I am going to visit the fish emporium and buy a RajFish replacement. I think I may call her Mrs Raj.
Glad to hear that you are well. I miss you. When will I see you again?

I think a Raj replacement may help with the grieving process and would be a step in the right direction for you, in terms of dealing with this loss.
Perhaps next week, when you are feeling a little stronger and ready to face the world once more… Perhaps you could pop out one lunchtime and meet me (The Real Raj).
But only if you are up to… I don’t want you to feel pressured… Let me know.

RIP Man U’s title chances for another year as well
hrhr sorry couldn’t resist, it’s been 43 years so I gotta make the most of it.
September 26th, 2005 at 8:49 amI’m amazed it took you this long! I was another classic performance from United. At the beginning of the season there was a lot of “Fergie has finally built his fourth team” type of talk but it’s fair to say that it’s not quite there yet. It would be good if our defenders didn’t keep getting injured but I remember a time when that didn’t really matter and we would win anyway.
Meanwhile, Chelski look pretty unstoppable.
September 26th, 2005 at 9:18 amSo, did fried RajFish taste good?
September 26th, 2005 at 10:57 pmThat’s just wrong and you know it. You shouldn’t mock in my time of grief.
September 27th, 2005 at 8:59 amHow did it turn into a football conversation?! Olly, don’t mock Owen’s pain. Owen, you can tell me mate, let it all out, did it taste good?
October 7th, 2005 at 4:25 pm[…] I lost another fish. I don't know why it died but it went pretty much the same way as RajFish. Please all bow your heads for a minute& […]
